Treetops has been an established name in the pet care industry for over 35 years, having provided a top quality boarding service for dogs and cats in Derby and the surrounding areas. Some even travelled from Wales!

 Jo and Marcus worked hard over the years to make it the 5 star kennel it became. They were also one of the first kennels in the UK to provide a daycare service, which took off with a boom during covid.

I'm Lucy and after 3 years at Broomfield College, my true passion for dogs came alive when I got a weekend job 14 years ago as a kennel hand at Treetops Kennels and Cattery. That weekend job became a full time job, which lead to me becoming kennel manager. 

It was with Jo and Marcus' recent retirement that an opportunity arose where I could continue to provide a safe and loving daycare environment for your dogs. 

Looking after your dog isn't a job, it's a lifestyle and one I would pick many times over.  I have a Border Terrier of my own called Griff, you'll no doubt hear him before you see him!

We offer a variety of services including daycare and grooming. We are trained to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes, and we strive to provide personalized care to each and every pet. Every dog has their own individual needs and we will always cater to those, ensuring your dog is happy whilst in our care.

I hope you will be safe in the knowledge that your dog is like one of our own and will be treated as such.

 We also have a grooming salon to offer additional 1-to-1 Dog Spa service.

I hosted a charity day in 2024 and I look forward to planning more throughout the year, so stay tuned for those.

Our spacious facility features all weather astro-turf outdoor play areas, cozy indoor quarters with beds and blankets and adjoining external areas, with plenty of toys and games to keep your pet entertained throughout the day. 

Every dog gets their own kennel for the day as we recognise not all dogs want to be social all of the time. Our kennels provide dogs with a warm and dry place where they can retreat so they get the best mix of rest and play. 

 Our facility is cleaned and sanitized regularly to ensure the health and safety of all pets.
